Guy Birthday card Swap

I am in a swap that is due May 1st. I have 3 sets to make. This is the first one a guys birthday card. I still have an anything birthday card and a ladies card to do.

I am taking Tim Holtz class online. I did these trees with his brushless watercolor technique. I like how the trees turned out.

1. The black strip is 1.5 x 4.25
2. The leaves strip is 5x 2.
3. the happy Birthday sheet is 2.5 x 4.
4. The trees are 2 x 3 and the black is 2.25 x 3.25

Another Pink card.

I pieced another background and I had the gown stamped for the last bunny one.

So this was a pretty quick card. I stamped the welcome baby and used a spellbinders tag die.

Another Bunny Card

Same as yesterdays card but I added some flowers for the bunny to sit in. Its cute but I’m not sure which one I like better. I really just like the bunny. I need to make a boy version. So maybe when I come across some blue scraps I will do that.

Well I need to go put away some more stuff so you all have a glorious day.

Paper Piecing BG with Bunny Card

I really enjoy making these background card. Today I made a baby card. Cute pink bunny colored with Copic makers. Cut it out and pop dotted it. the ears have a thicker foam then the rest so her ears would be out just a bit further.

The sentiment was cut with a spellbinders label 1 die (3rd smallest). Inked with Distress, Worn Lipstick and pop dotted up.

What a sweet little girl card for a new addition. I it would be cute framed to hang in a room too.

Paper Piecing Background

I have drawn a sketch 2 or 3 times now of a pieced background but have never taken the time to try out my creation. So yesterday
while I was in mycraft room working. I was trying to decided if I want to keep some small pieces of paper.

So I made a card with the pieces of scraps. I see many more of these in my future. I hate to throw away small piece of pretty paper, specially if it is retired or I don’t know who it was from but loved the pattern or color. Now I don’t have too.

Went through my box of colored images to see if I had anything that would work on there, I figured her pink shirt worked and I liked that I could have her sitting on a block. I pop dotted her foot so it would stick out some. I have been trying to use some of my stuff up so when I found the little container of pink flowers I knew where I was going to use those.

No sentiment, this card would be great for just a note to a friend.

My new Sketch Book

I was so tired of doing my sketches on little pieces of paper or in tables but they end up every where and then I can’t find them later. So tonight I made a sketch book. I used Kenny K stamps that I had already colored and cutout. The glitter letters are thickers stickers.

The boxes are for A4 cards or 8.5x11 pages and 12x12 pages or square cards.

My book is whole sheets of paper folded in half then the cover was cut from a 12x12 at 9x12.

I glue dotted ribbon to the back so I wouldn’t loose it. I wanted the ribbon so it would stay closed in my purse.

Two nights ago I was reading my emails right before I went to bed. Boring I know, do you really care.......

Missed You Card

I found this cute image that had been stamped years ago. I wanted to try coloring it with my Copic markers. It was the best way I have ever colored this picture. It tried to smear because it wasn’t stamped with the right ink. It has set for a long time so it wasn’t to bad.

Pink Babbbyyyyy......

Today I was putting away some more of my stuff. 5 or 6 more boxes are empty. It feels good to get some of this stuff put away. I found more bits and pieces of paper. This was part of a 12 x 4 piece. I thought the birds where cute. So I cute the paper to make this the main image of the card.

Tim Holtz day 2 of Chemistry Class

So on Monday I started a class online. OnlineCardClasses.com

We are learning how to use his stuff and the chemistry of how this stuff works. Todays post is from tuesday class that I just finished a little bit ago. It was on using water based ink and his distress inks. I liked this stuff before, I LOVE it now. It is so versatile.

Anoter Messy Desk Creation

I was working in my room and tidying up my desk just a little. You know, just enough room to work when that idea strikes. Well it struck and here is what came out of finding a baggie of hearts with random sizes squares in it. I thought it turned out cute. Everyone can use some love anytime of the year.

There was still some left in the baggie so who knows what I will get next time.
