You are.......Card

I made this card with a very old and desired stamp sets from Stampin’ Up.

It’s called “Wild Wild West”. My very sweet hubby bought it for me a while ago. 

 I colored it with Spectrum Markers.

 The sentiment is from TLC creations. It was a free digi.

She has some awesome stuff.

 I die cut the window and put a piece of plastic so it had a window of sorts. 

 Added the dash and dots and the silver Viva Decor in the corner.

Hope you enjoyed the manly card today. I think that sometimes the men in our lives need to hear this.

Outlawz Free Digi Challenge.

We got this shoe to work with, over at the Outlawz challenge blog.

 I used Tim Holtz reflections stamp set and stamped on my embossing folder to get this effect. 

 Then I inked it with a distress ink. Colored the image with Spectrum markers. 

 Tied the ribbon and pop dotted the image.

Happy Mothers Day Card

Made this for the Outlaw challenge web site. This one is from the free digi challenge.

Anne one of the hostess did this image. Come on over and play. They are very sweet people.

 I embossed the background, then I used broken china distress ink to make it pop.

 Die cut the pink and print paper, then I cut the edge so the pink will show. 

Tied the ribbon and added the flower.

 Die cut the tag with a spellbinders die then inked it while it was still in the die.

 Stamped the sentiment and added the glitter brads.

 Then I double pop dotted her so she was higher then usual.

Laughter and Sunshine KIds Card

Another image from The Coastal Hare. I love these sunshine kids.

 This is Sunshine Kid - Baby Bernard. He is only $2.50 I think he is very versatile. He would be cute on a scrapbook page for a little one. He brings a bit of sunshine to a day. 

 I embossed the upper half with cloudy sky embossing folder. Inked around the edges with Spiced Marmalade by Ranger. Die cut the saying with a ribbon tag. The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up.

 I think this is a cheery little card. It would be great to brighten someones day.

Oh Nuts and Bolts Card

Is he not the cutest little robot. I found him over at "The Coastal Hare" 

 His name is Tin Men-Love Struck. He only cost $2.50. I will be getting more of these cute little robots.

 I came up with the sentiment and printed it out made it into a tag to add on to the brad. The paper is from Stampin Up and I just stamped some random images so that it had a distress look.

Graduation Card for my Niece

I made this card for the outlaw challenge site. These seem to be a very friendly group of ladies.

 My sweet Niece is graduating very soon. I can’t believe how fast the time has flown by. I used to watch her and her brother M-F. Now she is a beautiful woman looking back at me.

                   I hope she likes her card. It even kind of looks like her. Auntie loves you, Hunter.

                                                     May all of your dreams come true.

Queen Kat Design Team Call Application

Today I worked on cards to try out for a design team for Queen Kat Designs. To visit their store go here

I didn’t have any of theirs on hand that were current so I used this cute little girl with an attitude from Tiddly Inks, all 3 came from here. When I seen her I knew I had to play with her. I love the saying. I wanted it to have a cute sweet girly feeling with a touch of her attitude shining through. 

 I used some retired Stampin Up paper for the background. I embossed with a folder from Stampin Up.
I embossed the print and sanded some of the color off.

 Then I embossed the base and distressed it with Spun Sugar distress ink from Rangers.

Next I cut a doily with the new die from Stampin up.

                                   Tied the ribbon and then assembled it.

Cut her out after coloring her.

Placed her on the card with pop dots.

                Added the sentiment as a banner on the bottom. It has a wave in it.
    You just put pop dots in the center. Mine are stacked 2 high for more depth and support.

 Card two: When I seen the luggage and her I just knew the card I was going to create. It took a little bit to get the idea from my head to the paper, but I’m happy with it. Please enjoy the few pictures I took.

 This card is for all the people that need to stand out.  This is the first easel card I have made. It was much easier then I figured it would be. I made a few mistakes but you can’t tell.
