Craft Your Passion Week 2 Day 1 of 4

Hello..... Its me again here for Craft Your Passion challenge blog. For this challenge you had to pick an old challenge from the last year, but NO anything goes!!

I decided to really go for it with this challenge as a guest this week. I did 4.... Yes four. So I will post one a day for the next four days. This was challenge #106.  Use dies or punches. The image was so sweet I wanted to keep the rest simple so it didn’t take way from it.

This image is from Kat Kraftz over at Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps and it is called Young Love. I colored them with my Spectrum markers.

A Little bit of Paradise.

I made this card for an Outlawz challenge. I have made it once  before. I just love this card. 

The glitter is such a nice touch. Added the white gel for the water and the clouds.

QKD Monkey Business...September Release

Queen Kat Designs September release. I got "Monkey Business" and yes it is just as it sounds. It is a large sock monkey with a very sexy girl leaning on it. You only get a peek this time.

For this card I used a piece of retired Stampin’ Up pink paper and a small scrap of black, sorry I don’t remember by who. The ribbon is also Stampin’ Up. I used a scallop punch for the edge on the pink and 2 black circles that I doodled on.

Finally a Card to Share.

Ever have a week that it feels like it’s dumping on you??? Because of everything that went on this week, I haven’t had time to create much. The things I did work on have been for a guest DT spot and my QKD DT spot. So Yesterday, well late last night, I finally got to play with some stuff. I made 3 cards but can only show you the one for now.

So here she is Brittany from over at the Paper Craft Planet  . It is a back to school challenge but I made her a birthday card this time. I will try to get back and do a school theme one for the challenge. On Friday Sassy Studio Designs gives away a freebie that is only good on Fri and needs to be used in the challenge. I entered this card into Craft Your Passion challenge

I think she is adorable and would be great for that first day of school scrap page. I just don’t have any little or big kids in school. So she is a birthday card for now.

The supplies I used is the emboss plate from papertrey ink, the pink paper and ribbon is from Stampin’ Up but the paper is retired. the sentiment is from Create with TLC by Paulette. Sorry I don’t remember who the black scrap piece is from but I loved the glitter swirls.

I sanded the embossed piece to get the white distressed look. used a little distressing ink around the edges. then I pop dotted her up.

QKD Horse Whisperer Card

Isn’t she great. You can get her over at Queen Kat Designs shop. Her name is the “Horse Whisperer”. She is one of the August releases.  

This card is using a piece of paper that I stamped using the second generation technique but I  sprayed it with water. It was a test and I didn’t want to waste the ink that was left on the stamp after I had done some other BG’s.  

The flowers are from Prima the ribbon is some seam binding that I dyed and the butterfly is punched out from a SU punch.
