CAS Design for Outlawz Challenge Blog

So what is a CAS card, you ask? It stands for “Clean and Simple” Theses cards are made with lots of open space and very easy to mail.

Todays card was made with post-it notes, Wild Honey, Tea Dye, and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I stuck the post-it down to cover all but the strip I wanted to color. Then I used the distress ink to fill in the strip lightest to darkest until I was happy with the color. I removed my mask (post-its) and stamped the leaves and sentiment, all done. See it is very quick.

QKD Autumn Reaper

Its October’s release of the Autumn Reaper from Queen Kat Design.  The leaves are from a die cut by Sizzix. The papers are retired SU. She was colored with Spectrum Noir markers.

13 Days of Halloween Day 7

When Your Sick......Card

Here is a fun card to give to a sick girlfriend. Pretty flowers an girlie feel. I got this stamp from QKD in a set called “To My Best Friend”. The sentiment is..... “When you are sick stay away from me until you are well again I don’t want what you have!"

Queen Kat Design Blog Hop Day 3

Queen Kat is having a 13 day of Halloween Blog Hop. Today is purple. If you got here from Sue, then your in the right place. If you just popped in then go to QKD blog, so you can start from the beginning.

This little box is made from an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. you score at 2” and 6.5” one the 8.5” side Then you turn it and score at .75, 4.5, 6.5, 10.25. Fold everything on the fold. Then you fold like this. I don’t know how to explain it. You fold it at a diagonal. Tape the edges to hold the inside in place. 

The cute old witch is Octobers new release. "Fancy Old Witch” by Sandra Caldwell, at QKD store. She is a colorful little witch. Who wants to only wear black. The paper is from Echo Park. Now I’m going to send you over to the very talented Janie. She has a great project for you to see.
