Hug a Pet Outlawz Challenge

Finally got a project done for the Outlawz Challenge blog. This weeks CAS is Hug a Pet. How I came up with this challenge is,  It is ”Pet" week and "Hug” week. Screams Hug a Pet to me. 

I used Turtle Love by Krista at the Saturated Cananry. Isn’t she cute holding her little turtle. We love our pokie. He is an awesome turtle.

I printed the image on heavy white cardstock and colored her with Spectrum markers and did the background with the same markers.  The little flower with the sentiment is from SU. It has a matching punch, so easy to use.  

This is a close up of her with the turtle. She was so much fun to color. I haven’t done any coloring in awhile with all the work I have been doing with helping my friend with their health. 

 I love how her eyes just pop.

Late but Still Up

I have to say I’m sorry to the Outlawz’s Challenge DTs. This was suppose to be up a week ago this challenge is over but the CAS ladies have been working hard so go check out this weeks challenge so you can play. 

Last Sunday’s challenge was to make a frog card. This is what I did. Then life got away from me and I was out of town with no service so I never got it up on my blog.

This frog is an old retired one from SU, but I still love these frogs. I sprayed with shimmer to make my water shimmery. Then I filled in the spots on his back with  shimmery gel pen. 

 The ripple in the pond was 2 small circles inked around to  make the ripple.

Anything Goes Over at the Outlawz this Week.....

So this is the card that the design team at Outlawz chose for todays post I gave them 2 choices. I loved the sentiment. It came from a set by Amazing Paper Grace. The beautiful butterfly is from Stampin' Up.

I used some watercolor crayons to color it and then went over it with a glitter pen to add the sparkle. I love how simple this card is.

It is “National Cleaning Week” ......

So..... my challenge for this week is use something in your craft supplies that is old and wants to be played with. The things that need to be moved out so the new can come in. I have way to much of this in my room. This challenge can be found at the Outlawz. 

This cute little bunny came from Robyns Fetish Digital This Babette the bunny. I printed it out twice and colored and cut out the bunny and butterfly Then pop dotted it over the other other image on the other sheet that I had colored the grass and sky.  

I framed it on a black piece so it had some pop. Then I pop dotted it to the base.

For the base I stamped the green foliage and without reinking did it again a couple of times to give it shading. I just scribbled in the sky so it has some clouds. Sponged in some distress ink on the green and the sky edges.

 Added some sparkle to the bows, eggs and butterfly.

Added the flowers with the brads for a soft touch and that was my cleaning stuff. I have so many flowers that need to be used. And don’t even get me started on the brad and eyelets collection.

Blog-Hop for Kiwi Lane.......

This company is awesome. The girls over at Kiwi Lane  are just sweethearts. So my Template is for 3 flowers, called Floral. They are meant to be used for scrapbooking ideas, designer templates, scrapbook ideas, scrapbook inspiration but I thought outside of the box.  I was planning on making a hair thing but the flowers were to big for the little head I was doing it for. So when I was working on that I was inspired to do my favorite jeans that were
showing some wear.

I took an old pair of jeans that were so worn and to big :) Cut them up with the flowers. Took the back pocket and added it to the leg for my cell phone. Added lace to all the pockets and over a couple of the flowers. I like how they turned out. They are fun to wear. 

 Supplies:

• Old jeans to decorate
• Old jeans to cute up
• Pellon Fusible material to iron them on
• Kiwi Lane Floral template.

  I have to go back over them with embroidery floss because the fusing wasn’t strong enough on the knee area.

Hello everyone,

Sorry I haven’t posted anything creative lately but I have been working on building my business in doTERRA Essential Oils. I have never felt as good as I have since I have started using this stuff. I have amazing energy and I’m pain free!! something that just 8 months ago I didn’t ever think would happen. So I’m trying to help my friends who have had bad things happening this last year.... cancer, kidney issues, fibermyalgia just to name a few. I have friends who are now feeling better. It turned their life around. Funny thing is I don’t even had the desire to go create because I feel so good about the help I’m giving those around me.
