Hello vellum card

Ok the last sample for the 28th play day. We had a wonderful time catching up. It was nice to visit with my friends.

This card is easy to make. the vellum and pattern paper are cut at 5.25 x 4. I stamped the back side of the vellum with gray ink, let it dry. Then I flipped it over and stamped the hello in brown and the my friend in black. Taped the corners with ATG tape, great for vellum. Then I put a piece of ribbon around it and mounted it to the base.

Glad you stopped by today Have a wonderful day.

Seam binding is the ribbon. I used heart blocks for the embossing.

An altered Christmas Card.

I made this a 5x5 a few years ago. My son gave it to his grandfather at Christmas. He took the money out and left the card soooooo... I took it and cut it down, I changed the ribbon up and put it on a new base that is an A2 size.

I really like that santa but I think it would be better colored with Copics.

Hope you have a great weekend.
God bless

Another Manly Birthday card

Just a quick manly card for the guys at church. I did the faux letterpress for the background. Rub a little brown ink on the smooth side on your folder, you know the side that has the indents. Run through your favorite die cutting machine. They I added the ribbon and the car mounted on a brown piece of paper.
The car was colored with Copic markers.

I hope you enjoyed todays addition. May you have a blessed day.

Cupcake Birthday card

Another card for the church.

This one is using the left over black from the car card yesterday. I glued it over the birthday paper leaving about an 1/16 all the way around it. The cute cupcakes are cut from some resist paper I used on an other project. I just inked the two different colors and pop dotted one up. The finishing touch was a glitter gel pen stitching around the edge. The sentiment is embossed in orange.

I hope you enjoyed todays creation. Thank you for visiting today.

Manly Birthday card

Working on some cards for my church to use. This one is for the guys. I used Spellbinders label 17 dies and a diamond plate embossing folder. Then I embossed the happy Birthday on a strip of paper to make a banner. The truck was colored with Copic markers when I was on my cruise. I love have images ready so I can just throw the things together.

Hope you enjoyed todays creation.

Birthday card with banners

I was using up a strip of paper that was left over from cutting some card fronts. When I seen the 3 birthdays I seen 3 banners. so cut then so they could be used that way. I wasn’t planning on using them all on the same card but I thought it was cuter that way.

Supplies are more scraps just layered on black paper so it had more pop.

God bless you today and may you be inspired by the things around it.

A winter wonderland outside my window.

I love to sit inside my nice cozy home and look out at the beauty
when I’m creating.

Our Dogs love the snow and this is Brutus’s first snow. He is 6 months today. My daughter was kicking it up so he could catch it. He is so happy and its fun to watch him play in it. Rascal her 6 lb yorkie loves the snow too. We have 2 danes, ones 8 years old and Brutus. We have the yorkie and a cocker too.

These are the words I got from God today and it sums up the snow.
"Just like Jesus covers our sins is the blanket of white when He covers the earth and makes her so beautiful.

May you see and feel that beautiful today.”

Scarlet West Card

Scarlet West Card was made with Kenny K’s Scarlet West digi stamp. I colored her with copic markers, cut her out and waited for the perfect layout. The paper is from Stampin Up and it had just the right touch of vintage for this.

I hope you enjoyed todays card. I’m healing up and starting to create again....So there will be more to come soon.

A victorian Hi.

I have been playing with this idea for days and finally she is in place.

It has been a hard go lately. My husband has had to take care of his parents. So my very sweet daughter has helped me take care of my mother in law her grandma while hubby dealt with his dad and hospitals.

I pray your New Years is going better then mine has. The upside is things are improving.
God’s blessings to you and yours.
