You Look Fabulous Card

Todays card is featuring Saturated Canary designs by Krista Smith. I love her images. Maybe one day I will see when she has a design team call and be able to apply. This adorable little is called Frizzy Jynx located here.

She was colored this Copic markers back when I bought her. She has been sitting patiently waiting to be used. So today was her day. I embossed the paper with an impression plat from Papertreyink.com and the dress form was another just messing around with stuff creation waiting for a project. I think they work nicely together.

This is to show you layers that I did. The dress form is two layers with the top cut up.

When I got her I was a little nervous that I wouldn’t be able to do the hair right but I’m pleased with how it turned out.

She has glitter on her sneakers, headband and heart on her jacket. Every girl needs some bling somewhere. The tag is made from an old SU punch.
I hope you enjoyed your visit today and that you will let me know what you think of her. It was my joy to have you here today.

May your day be blessed and you be a blessing as well.

Where I live Outlawz Challenge Card

Todays card is from the Outlawz, 2000 member challenge party, found here.  Well I live in a very wet area this June. Usually we aren’t this wet. So When I seen this cute image from Krista Smith from Saturated Canary and the challenge I knew exactly what I was going to do. So I ran off to my craft room so I could create..

This is Rainy Day, I can’t find it on her site now. I just bought it today. ???? Oh well on to the card. I used paper from SU and cut a strip from two papers and used both sides of it.

Drew lots of dot and dashes. and I made the scene at her feet. I used my Spectrum noir markers. to color her and make the puddle and grass. I added white gel pen to make ripples and shaded behind her with light gray.
I curled the paper ribbon/banners so the would curl up some at the bottom. Pop dotted her up and all done.

It is hard to see but I used clear star to make some sparkly rain drops. I used pink glitter gel pen for the sparkly stripes, petticoat under her skirt and flowers on the umbrella and boots. I love to make things sparkle. Glitter truly is a girls best friend.

Another picture to show the glitters. Hope you enjoyed your visit. I’m so glad you came by today. I love to create and share with you. I have been so happy to have my followers growing. When I reach 50 I will give away a prize to someone using random.org to pick from my followers. Hopefully by the end of June this will happen. If it goes over you will be in the drawing.

Thank you for stopping by and good luck on the drawing, if you are a follower. May your day be blessed greatly. You have blessed mine by stopping by today.

Grace of our Lord Card

Well today was a good day my order from PaperTrey Ink arrived. I ordered their new hexagon die and I love it. There will be more samples to come from them because I bought some other stuff too.

The sentiment is from Our Daily Bread Designs. I love this company, Kelly is wonderful.

Distress ink everywhere on this one. I stamped the hexagons with rusty, lavender, tumbles tiles. I used honey and rusty hinges for the sentiment and the layered orange behind the white embossed.

This was a fun card to create. I like that there is no black, that is very rare with me. My sentiment is always stamped in black. The pearls are from Stampin’ Up. and the ribbon is seam binding that I dyed.

Well I hope you enjoyed your visit today and that it inspired you to make something fun yourself. Thank you so much for spending some time here, life is busy. I’m honored that I was one of your stops. God bless your day.

Good Friends.......Panda Prince Card

The Queen Kats Design did it again. Sandra’s little bear is so cute. I think he looks sad but he is adorable. You should go check it out here.

The sentiment was in a large set found here. “Good friends don’t let you do stupid things alone” Did he do something stupid and that is why he is sad???  Or maybe he just needs a friend to do it with him.

I used Bo Bunny paper for this card I got it in a paper kit. I love this paper. It is so pretty. I love that the circles have text in them and there is glitter around each edge.

The ribbon and clip is from my stash. I don’t know who they are from, sorry. Pop doted his legs and grown.

I hope you enjoyed this card. I really like this stamp. It has been nice visiting with you today. I hope you enjoyed it too. May you bless someone with a card or creation today. Something that you had fun creating. May  God bless your day.

Two Roads CAS

This wonderful set is from Our Daily Bread Design. It is called “Quote Collection 1” I really have a thing for trees so I love both of the sets like this that have trees on them. This was such an easy card. That is why is is a CAS = Clean and Simple.

I die cut a piece of acetate to make the masks, positive and negitave. I used the negative to protect the white area while I inked the inside. then to make it easier for the dots I placed the positive piece down and went around the edge touching the piece. That is why it isn’t everywhere. If I had not done that I would have them out and on the blue. I really don’t have a steady hand to make them stay in a perfect line.

This card took the most time to figure out which label mask I wanted to use. You could make this card in 5 min if you knew everything you wanted to use. Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed your visit. Please come visit again soon.

Die-Versions Dies & CAS Challenge.

Oh my word I love this die. It is from a newer company called Die-Version click on the name to check them out. This is the laciest butterfly from a die that I have ever seen. It is so delicate.

The sentiment is from Our Daily Bread Designs. I think we all need some grace. I used a Spellbinder die. I embossed it into the front of the card. Then used the squeezed lemonade distressed ink inside of it.

I distressed very carefully around the wings with the same color and then I glued it down only in the center and added some bling that I picked up at Hobby Lobby yesterday. My sweet hubby took me there because he figured I would enjoy it. I haven’t been there since Oct 30 of last year, at its grand opening.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today. I am entering this into the Outlawz CAS challenge for their 2000 member party. It is a summer theme or whatever season your in right now. I am in the summer if you go by the calendar but I don’t think the state knows that. It has been record cold and rains. I love Washington but I’m ready for some sun. Thats where the grace comes in with this card. There are a lot of grumpy people right now.

Thank you for taking time to stop by and I would love to hear what you think of my creation. God bless your day.

Patriotic Candy Holder ... QKD

Panda Prince here again from Queen Kat Design. This time he is getting ready for the 4th of July. I think he is so cute all done up in the red, white and blue.

I used 3 embossing folders, the stars celebration one (blue) from Sizzix, distressed stripes (red), and white stars were embossed and then cut out.  Distressed ink of Fired brick and frosted glass(??).

The box is a 2,4,6,8 box. It is 8.5 wide and how ever tall you want it with 2” for the bottom. I score the bottom at 2”. then I turn it so we are scoring along the 8.5” edge. We score at 2,4,6,8 leaving the .5 to glue to make the box around. Now to cut and fold. On the 2” bottom piece cut up the that line at the 2, 4, 6, 8, scores and cut off the .5 piece left at the 2” line. Fold all the scores and then glue the .5” to the other side to make a square tube. Then glue the bottom up in place. Do the decorating before or after but it is easier if you do it before.
My box is about 4.75” tall So all my blue pieces are cut at 1.75 by 4.75 then tore of a smig on the top, you need 4. The red band is about 2” wide by about 8.5" or 9” so you can wrap it around and glue it together. I tied the ribbon around the band. Then I pop dotted the Panda Prince and glued on the stars.

This was a fun little project. It would be great to have for each of your guest. They could be great place holders with names on them.  He was made for my FB post for my QKD requirement.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today. I hope he inspires you to make one yourself. May God bless you greatly today and you have a joyous day. Thank you for stopping by.

Fabulously Sassy

Another skateboard girl. I did her for a challenge on the Outlawz. It was a tic tac toe challenge you had to pick 3 in a row and create with them. I picked Brads, Flower and Glitter. The Fabulous is a glittery sticker and the brads are glittery too. They are the center of the flowers.

She came from “Sassy Studio Design” She is Sassy-Skater. The background paper is from my stash. I used distress ink around the edges and layered it on some denim paper, then on the white base.

She is colored with Spectrum nior markers. I have the full set of those. I love coloring with alcohol ink.

I hope you like her. She was a blast to do. I love that I’m finally using up some of my supplies. No more hoarding for me. If I use it I can get new supplies. So I think that is a good reason to use it up. I have a life time of stuff though.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today. It was my pleasure to create it for you. May your blessings be many and your regrets few. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great day.

Outlawz Free Digi Challenge #2

So This is the second image we got for the next two weeks. I like how this one turned out with the little banners and the chipboard with the ribbon on it.

The paper is from Stampin’ Up. It is in the new catalog. I distressed the edges with Vintage Photo. I used Antique Linen stain to color the chipboard then distressed the edges with Vintage Photo.

The hi is a glitter chipboard alphabet that I had left from other projects. I used my brown EB5 marker to color over the top to make it brown instead of white to go with the rest of the card.

The ribbon is seam binding that I had dyed along time ago. The flowers are pop dotted up on top of the chipboard.

Well I hope you enjoyed todays card. It was a fun one to make. I hope God blesses your day greatly today. I’m excited because my sweet man is home today, he has been working out of town.
