Last post from Miss April.....

I made this pencil holder for my last project as the guest designer for Bombshell’s Miss April.

It was a fun project to do I used the Retro Cowgirls stamp and the Butterfly Queen Set for the images. Colored with the Spectrum Noir markers, I really like those. I covered the pressed wood box with 4 different scraps of paper from some of the projects I did this month. I wanted to have a memento of my month. This will set on my craft desk to hold my pencils, something I’m always losing.

Thank you for the opportunity to guest and play with your wonderful stamps. It was a very fun month.

Now I would like you to all give Miss May Jennie Harris a wonderful “Welcome” She will bless you with such wonderful creations. Can’t wait to see what she has in store for us.

Thank you all for the visit.

Last Fun Weekend

Last weekend we went to the Kangaroo farm and then we went to the Tulip Fields.
These are some of the flowers we bought. They are all open now and so pretty.

My sweet husband knelt down and just stayed there until she felt safe enough to come visit him. She was licking his hands and nuzzling him.
He has such a gentle spirit.

My sweet girl holding a 6 week old baby. I’m so shocked she didn’t ask for one.

My daughter-in-law holding the baby next.

My little arm-wrestling state champ for 2011 out playing with us.

My daughter is asked regularly to take pictures of groups. I think its funny so I finally captured it. She was carrying 2 big cameras for her day trip.
Such a beautiful day God gave us. I love this picture with the mountains in the background.

Bombshell's Hump Day, Blog Hop

Happy Birthday Betty Page.... She was the theme this month.

You should of gotten here from Alaine’s Blog. If not please go here to start from the beginning. You don’t want to miss any of these great projects.

It was fun making this card. I used a quote from her blog. She had said “I was never the girl next door” I loved this saying.

She is inside the card with the digi paper I got from Kristi Dailey.

I made the window with a die I got from Our Daily Bread Design. I wanted her to be in a building so she would be the girl next door but with an attitude. Just think what the neighbor boys would do with her living next door.

I hope you enjoyed your visit, now head on over to Stempelientje , to see her awesome project.

C.C design Card

This very cute card was brought to you by my idea and C.C. stamps. I got these Digital stamps over at allthatscrap.com. Colored it with my new Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I got the full set from CraftersCompianion.com. Really like their stuff.

The fun thing to do with digital stamps is size then to what you need. You can’t do that with a regular stamp. I used my Stampin’ Up small flower punches to make the flowers for this card. I used Spellbinders for the die to cut the tree and swing. Then I cut her out with my scissors and pop dotted her up.

I love the innocence of this card. She is just so sweet swinging and waiting for her friend to arrive.

Thank you for the visit today. Make sure you come by on Wens. for the Bombshell blog hop I will be in.

Bombshell Block Art

This was a blast to make. Time consuming but very fun.

The stamp set is “Rise and Shine” from Bombshell stamps.
I used a Stampin’ Up flower punch to make the pretty flowers, the birds and the leaves. The leaves are actually the birds wings.

The brads in the center of the flowers is from the build a brad from Stampin’ Up. They are wonderful because you can design the center to match what your working on. The swirls are hot jewels that I used my little pink heat setter. The coloring was done with my new Spectrum noir markers. They are wonderful but when they arrive they are really wet so stand them up so the fine end is up. That way the ink moves to the bottom of the pen. After you use them some lay them on there side to store, its better for them.

This was done for the Bombshell blog. This is the last of my required Design Team for April. I hope you enjoyed my Miss April reign. It was a fun treat to play with their stamp sets.

Have a blessed day and thank you for visiting me today.

Groovy

Feel like boogieing down.

I found this and some other dancing images on Etsy.com - MayzyArt’s shop.

I liked the paper for the background because it had a retro feel for this girl.

I dotted her with a silver glitter pen. So that the ball was reflecting on to the wall.

Hope you have time today to boogie.

God Bless you all.

Coffe or Tea with a CC stamp

Hello, Hope you are having a great morning.
I haven’t seen a friend for awhile and I have been thinking about her a lot lately so I thought I would use this cute digi stamp from C.C. Kiki La Rue Latte from Allthatscraps.com

I made her cup pop out from her body but glued the arm tight to her body.

Hopefully she is inviting.

Have a great day.

Bombshell With Aged Vellum

Hi. It’s me again here with another Bombshell stamp today. While I was up working in my room I found a couple of long strips of Vellum CS. So I was curious if it would act kind of like the glassine paper.

I wrinkled it 3 or four times then I used a couple of Distress inks on it to age it. After that I wrinkled it some more added one more layer of the darker ink over the cracks again then took my brown Momento ink and stamped a map on to it. It missed some but that was kind of the look I was hoping for.

Used the “Pirates life set from Bombshell Stamps for the main image. Some swirls I had from my Cricut Imagine that have been waiting for the perfect home. I lime how it turned out.

She is my favorite Bombshell so far. I’m waiting on a large order. I really wish it would get here soon. Who knows maybe today will be the day. I need one of them for the Hump day Blog hop.

Hope you enjoyed your visit and I inspired you to create something fun.

Right Here Having FUN page

Todays page was brought to you Rise and Shine stamp set by Bombshell Stamps.

I cut around her and tied her to the palm trees. The trees were cut using my Cricut machine and Gypsy. For the green palms, I used the "Paper Layerz" by Megan Elizabeth, I love this paper.

Now I just need to find that perfect picture to put on this page. I was very happy it turned out like I had pictured in my head. Isn’t it wonderful when this happens.

Hope you enjoyed your visit today. Now head over to the Bombshell blog to see all the fun stuff over there.
