Prestigious Pools Inc’s Christmas Card

This is the card I created for our family business. Every year we send out Christmas cards to that years customers. This year I had to make 31 of them.

My husband always wants golds on it because that is his company color. I used an embossing folder for the tree. The middle tag is stamped then embossed with black powder. Distressed the edges with old paper distress ink.

The strip of gold on the inside was the scrap from cutting them to fit the base. I think it gave it a nice touch.
May your holidays be a special time of joy with family and friends. Thank you for stopping by. You so bless me by visiting.

I made the sentiment on my computer, “Friends Forever will be”.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today. May your day be filled with blessings.

Outlawz CAS Challenge Your favorite Holiday Dish?

So this theme was a fun one. The theme is make a card with your favorite holiday dish in mind. Well my favorite is EVERYTHING. So Thats why I made the ornament with the tags. You should go check it out. The Outlawz is a fun place to play.
This card is very easy to make and you can make the inside anything you want. I die cut one of the Spellbinders 2nd on from the largest to make a mask. Then I inked the inside of the mask removed it and them stamped and embossed the inside. If you are stamping something bigger then the ball, then leave the mask on to stamp. Then I added the dots with a silver gel pen. Then I poked a hole to feed the twine through and tie on the tags that I made. Tie a bow and your done.
Thank you for stopping by. It makes my day to know you visited. May your blessings be many today.

Feathered Friends Outlawz Challenge

Feathered Friends is our theme for this weeks CAS at the Outlawz. I so enjoy this group of people. They are so sweet. You should go meet some of them.

For this card I used a fall set to make my cute little turkey. The leaves in the set make his feet and tail feathers. The pumpkin is his round little body and his head is the acorn upside down the red is actually the leaf on top. I cut the stem down some so I could make his beak smaller.
Thank you for visiting today. You make my heart smile. May you have many blessing this holiday season.

Kiwi Lane Item #5 - My Favorite of Them All

Ok last but not least.... This is my favorite of all of the design team projects. Every year we have an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest at our family dinner on Christmas day. There is 13 + of us around the dinner table. So lots of sweaters to look at. Some really get into it. I make an ornament for the winner to put on their tree.

I used Kiwi Lane Design templates, all of Madison Ave; Large Bracket 1: and Christmas 1 & 4. When I seen the ornaments I knew that is where the photos will go. The papers are from Stampin Up except for the the glitter paper.

This cute little girl in the ugly sweater is from Saturated Canary. She comes with sentiments too. She is a digital stamp. I love those because I can size them for a 12x12 page if I want.  The sentiment is cut on my Cricut machine.

I added Glossy Accents to her glasses to give them the look of real glasses. She is adorable and fun to color at this size.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you enjoyed these pages today. I hope that I make it on to this design team but if not it was fun to create for it anyway. May you have a day filled with joy.

Kiwi Lane Item #4

I love how this card turned out. For the snow and the tree I used my Kiwi Lane Design templates, Sentiments and Holidays 8T. I used an embossing folder from Cuttlebug “Large Snowflakes” it is from a 4 folder set called Winter Wishes.

Used Tumbled Glass and Iced Spruced Distressed ink. This adorable image is from Kenny K downloads. I think she is adorable and just pops on this card. The snow is glitter paper that sparkles beautifully and you can’t tell I used shimmer paper for the embossed snowflakes.  This card has lots of shimmer.

Thank you so much for visiting today. I hope she put a smile on your face. May your Holidays be filled with much joy.

Kiwi Lane Design Team Item #3

Using a previously colored CC image. This card was made with the Kiwi Lanes Design templates. I used sentiments and Adorn card templates on this card. I’m very happy with  how it turned out. She is just so precious.

I cut around the scallops from the Adorn set after I put the scallop paper on. I made it touch the bottom of the base. Behind it on the inside is the reverse of the striped paper. So you can use up your scraps and even use the left overs too.

This is the inside of this card. I don’t usually do the insides but when I use these templates I seem to put a piece inside.

Wouldn’t she make some one happy to get some snail mail. I think she brights a day.
Thank you so much for visiting today. I pray you all have great health and many blessings.

Kiwi Lanes Design Team #2

Another Kiwi Lane Design Team entry. I went to a friends house for a garage sale this summer and picked up 4 of these boxes. No reason other then I knew I could decorate them and I LOVE boxes, woods are the best. I used sentiments templates on this box.

I painted them white then added the papers with modge-podge. This was very easy to do because of how you use the templates.

This box might become a gift for a friend who loves boxes like I do. But it fits my doTERRA essential oil 5mil bottles perfectly. It will give me an excuse to make another one. This is her colors and why I made it.

I inked the edges with lipstick distress ink. by Rangers. Love these inks. Some of the seasonal colors have become my favorites.
Thank you for visiting today. May your troubles be few and your blessings many.

Kiwi Lane Design Team Call

Hello, I found this company a couple of months ago and I love their product. They are Kiwi Lane Designs. They have such a fun idea for scrapbooking. That can be used on cards altered items. This is one of 5 items I made for the design team call.

I also made this for the Outlawz challenge blog. This is for the Creative Freebie challenge. Sandi and Ann send you one of their pieces of artwork. Then you play with it and post to the challenge. You have two weeks to do your challenge. Their are some wonderfully talent people to play with on this site. Go visit and make some new friends.

This card used a template from Madison Ave that is for a 12x12 page layout but I was easily able to use it for a card. The sentiment I made on my computer. I felt it was fitting with the mailbox.

I hope you enjoyed your visit. I enjoyed having you here today. May God fill your day with many blessings. Thank you for stopping by.

Gratitude Outlawz Challenge

Today over at the Outlawz, our CAS challenge for this week is gratitude. This is the month of Thanksgiving. We need to remember to give thanks for what we have.

For this card I used a set from Stampin’ Up. It is a retired set but I still love it so it was used. I stamped the dots in the background then put post-it-notes around it to sponge the same color as the dots. The flower is stamped in Espresso Brown. This color is becoming one of my most used colors for these kinds of cards. It is a strong color but not as harsh can be.

I hope you head over to the outlawz and play along. You never know you might even win a prize. I have twice. This group of crafters are just wonderful.
Thank you for visiting today. You brighten my day with your visits. May you see God’s blessing shining on you.

Holiday Card Workshop Card.....Snowflakes

I just finished up a class online by Online Card Classes. I like this because I can take them when ever I have time and they never go away. I also like they way they teach.

For this card I used a CTMH stamp set (the snowflakes). Distress ink in Peacock, Glass and Weathered.  I put a mask across the bottom and stamped the snowflakes over the mask. Then I sponge the ink and removed the mask. Stamped the sentiment added bling on the snowflake. The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up.

The nice thing about this card is that there is no layers. So no extra postage and it went really quick.

Thank you for stopping by today. It always makes my day to see you stopped by. May your Holidays be filled with Joy.

Have you Laugh today?

I love the images from The Greeting Farm. This is Audrey from the digital stamps area. Then I colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers. I love how they blend.

The sentiment “Have you had your Laugh today?” is from TLC Creations. The colorful band is the new cobblestone die from Sizzix and Ranger. I didn’t realize it was going to cut all the pieces out. When you look at the die it looks embossed. The purple is from SU and embossed with the woodgrain also from Sizzix/Rangers.

I’m happy you came to visit today. I hope she makes you smile like she does me. You make me smile with your sweet comments and visits. May your day be filled with many blessings.
Thank you for stopping by.
