Mothers Day card

I have wanted to try one of these cards for a long time but thought they were too hard. Thanks to Becca from Amazingpapercrafts.blogspot.com. I made one and am very happy with how it turned out. Score a 12x5.5 paper at 2,4,8,&10. Then turn and cut from 2 to 10 score marks 1.5 from each end fold and decorate. These are fun to make can

Easter Bunny Gift bags

I made 50 of these today to give to the girls and leaders for Easter. I hope they like them. It took me all day to make them along with 10 dozen eggs. The eggs are their craft tomorrow night and 10 dozen for the Primetimers in the morning.

I am very honored to be one of the new design team members for aboverubiesstudio.com. I found out last night and was so shocked. I honestly didn’t think they would pick me. When they say it is ok I will post what I made to enter it. I had to make three items, one card, one scrapbook page and one thing that was whatever you wished. One of the items had to be about you, I did the scrap book page for that. I made a manly card and covered a small dresser for my little Addie that I watch. I needed something to put her little outfits in while it sits in my living room. It was a lot of fun to do and made me stretch out of my comfort zone. I have never had to make a tutorial before. It was a growing experience.

Bride Journal

My youngest got engaged in Feb so I made this for his very sweet bride. I hope she enjoys it. It was fun to create. The little one is for her purse.

Playing Today

I love these little dolls I get them at Ben Franklins. They are so much fun to decorate. This one has a large shasta daisies. I took it apart and made it into a dress then I gathered the center to make the little hat. Added a button with a bow. Gathered ribbon for the top of the waist and hot glued the large butterfly to the back.
