QKD’s Tea Mouse.

Here she is..... Tea Mouse from Queen Kat Design, November's release by Che Gilson. She is serving you a warm cup of holiday cheer.

I have wanted to try the telescoping technique. I had the perfect die to try it with. They are from Spellbinders. To make the layers I traced around the edges of the die and cut them by hand.
Thank you for visiting today. It always make me feel so good when
you stop by. Have a wonderful day.

Make-A-Wish Outlawz Challenge.

I was honor over at the Outlawz challenge site. They asked if I would be a guest designer on the CAS (Clean and Simple) team. I was so surprised that they asked. This weeks challenge is “Make-A-Wish”. You make a card based on something you would wish on.

My wishes always go through God. So I used a cross die from Our Daily Bread, to make the cross out of mulberry paper. The woodgrain and wish stamp are from Stampin’ Up. The wish is only half of the sentiment.
I am so glad you stopped by and celebrated with me today. I hope your day is full of blessings. May all your wishes come true.

Christmas is Coming...

So I thought I would start giving you some card ideas. This is a super easy mass making card. I found some vellum with snowflakes on it in my stash, long retired but found a new life. The tree is embossed and then I taped it under the greeting, so you don’t see the tape.

Then I punched two holes to put the brad through all layers but the base so it leaves the inside clean. The vellum is placed on a gold paper.
The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up. I stamped it in Versa-Mark and embossed it in black. Then I used Distress ink in old paper to go around the edges. That way it had an aged look.

I was making this as a sample for my husbands approval for his company Christmas cards. He liked the layout but just wants the Gold not the vellum. That is ok less work in the end. I will post the altered one of this card later when I finish it.
Thank you so much for visiting today. You bring such joy when you stop by and when you comment you make my heart happy. I ask God to bring you many blessing this holiday season.

Happy Halloween Everyone

This cute little witch is from the Greeting Farm. She was so fun to color with my Spectrum Noir markers. The moon behind her is a circle that I distressed and sponged the dots from a stencil.

She is here to wish you a very Happy Halloween. I hope you have a fun day as your out playing with all the kiddies. We will be at Trunk or Treat at our church. Thank you for visiting today.

Fancy Old Witch...

Well tomorrow is Halloween. I hope you have a great one. I will be at church doing face painting for our Trunk or Treat.  This cute little witch is from Queen Kat Designs. Her name is the “Fancy Old Witch". She is made by Sandra Caldwell.

I think she is cute. I wanted to keep her simple on this card. The sentiment is all mine.
May your day be filled with many happy little faces.

Happy Birthday Steven!!

Yesterday Kayla baked this cake for her oldest brothers birthday. Then we worked together to decorate it. I think it turned out great for our first one.

It has a glaze under the fondant. Then we used royal icing to make the decorations. That way they dried hard and looked very dimensional.

Well we hope He likes it. It is right up his alley. He hasn’t seen it yet. Soooooo Ssssssshhhhhhhhhh its a secret. And no he doesn’t go to his mom’s blog.

Autumn Reaper Visits Again.

Go check her out at the Queen Kat Design Store.
I wanted to make sure she looked like fall. I tried the tile technique on this one. The hardest part was figuring the measurements to cut them even. Hint** I found the half way then the half way mark between that. Then I turned it and did it the other way so they are all the same size.
Thank you for visiting today. Hope you enjoyed todays addition.
