This cute little witch is from the Greeting Farm. She was so fun to color with my Spectrum Noir markers. The moon behind her is a circle that I distressed and sponged the dots from a stencil.

Well tomorrow is Halloween. I hope you have a great one. I will be at church doing face painting for our Trunk or Treat. This cute little witch is from Queen Kat Designs. Her name is the “Fancy Old Witch". She is made by Sandra Caldwell.
I think she is cute. I wanted to keep her simple on this card. The sentiment is all mine. 
Yesterday Kayla baked this cake for her oldest brothers birthday. Then we worked together to decorate it. I think it turned out great for our first one.
It has a glaze under the fondant. Then we used royal icing to make the decorations. That way they dried hard and looked very dimensional.
I wanted to make sure she looked like fall. I tried the tile technique on this one. The hardest part was figuring the measurements to cut them even. Hint** I found the half way then the half way mark between that. Then I turned it and did it the other way so they are all the same size.
This weeks CAS over at the Outlawz is use limited fall colors. So I used brown, yellow and red to make my card. 
The center band is stamped and then sponged the color over the brown dots. Then I cut the leaf and acorn out and glued them down.

Wow he was bigger then I thought he would be. He comes in pieces. The die is super small for the outcome of the skeleton. This cute die is from the Memory Box company. He is the “Dancing Skeleton”. 
I was going through some of my printed out sentiments and when I seen this one I knew exactly what I was going to do with it. It says “I can feel Halloween in my BONES" 
The paper is from one of those paper stacks you pick up at the store. You know the ones that have just enough cute papers that you can’t pass them up but never seem to use them when you get home.......Well I finally used one of mine.
I hope you can enjoy your halloween as much as he is. Oh and the curly on the pumpkin is twine that I wrapped really tight around a small object and then heat it with my heat tool. Worked great.

I really have enjoyed creating with this little witch. She is such a fun image to play with. I made the flower out of a dictionary. 
So what is a CAS card, you ask? It stands for “Clean and Simple” Theses cards are made with lots of open space and very easy to mail.
Todays card was made with post-it notes, Wild Honey, Tea Dye, and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I stuck the post-it down to cover all but the strip I wanted to color. Then I used the distress ink to fill in the strip lightest to darkest until I was happy with the color. I removed my mask (post-its) and stamped the leaves and sentiment, all done. See it is very quick.

Here is a fun card to give to a sick girlfriend. Pretty flowers an girlie feel. I got this stamp from QKD in a set called “To My Best Friend”. The sentiment is..... “When you are sick stay away from me until you are well again I don’t want what you have!"

This little box is made from an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. you score at 2” and 6.5” one the 8.5” side Then you turn it and score at .75, 4.5, 6.5, 10.25. Fold everything on the fold. Then you fold like this. I don’t know how to explain it. You fold it at a diagonal. Tape the edges to hold the inside in place.
