Number Challenge

Well we are on to week two of Dec challenges. I hope you take time to visit the Outlawz. The challenge this week is “numbers”. So I was thinking Christmas.....wonder why.

These are our sponsors for this month. If you go create a CAS card with a number you too could win something. I have been the lucky winner before.
This card is super easy. I used an embossing folder distressed it with a green ink and then used the holly die and a leaf die to make the greenery for the red 25 chipboard stickers to set on.
Thank you for visiting. Hope you enjoyed your time here. I wish you a wonderful Christmas season.

Snowman Book Mark

I went and visited Penny’s blog the other day and found this artist, Rick St. Dennis MFA, on Etsy. I bought the bookmark set and have had a blast coloring them. The Santa will soon be posted. I love how he turned out.

The Snowman has a creep feeling but you would to if you were smashed in a book. I don’t read from books very often but might have to so I can use these. I guess I could use them in my doTERRA books. I colored him with my Spectrum markers.

Thank you for stopping bye. I hope he put a smile on your face. God bless your holidays.

Nativity with Kiwi Lanes Card

I think this image is so cute. I got it at Digi_Darla. I wanted to keep it simple so that the image was the focal point.

The background is Stampin’ Up paper and Kiwi Lanes Sentiment 2A & 2B to make the wave in the center. Tied a ribbon around the center and dash lines around each green piece.

I hope your Christmas is as peaceful as this scene. That you have joy with those who are near and dear you.

Thank you for stopping by today. This card is one of 55 that are going to a local nursing home so that everyone gets a Christmas card. My Sunday school is making them and then I will fill in what they need.

Sparkling Joy Challenge

I have an announcement..... When I finish my guest DT for Nov over at the Outlawz, CAS challenge, I love that site. They asked me if I would like to stay as a member of the team. So as of Dec 2012 I am a Design Team member of the Outlawz’s Challenge blog. I hope you come and play with us, you never know you could even win a prize. I have in the past.

So starting today’s Challenge is "Season of Light Challenge" - It's coming up on the holiday season once again, and everywhere we look there are lights shining.  This is an easy CAS challenge for you to let your light shine.  Create a card showing something that shines.  It can be a bg or an image (your eyes) - let your light shine. You need to make a CAS (clean and Simple) card that shines. For my card I used a die that I just got called bubble Joy. I die cut and then made it into a large banner, distressed the edges with spruce ink. It cuts out the circles then I filled them with Stickles, in red green clear and a light blue. I love how it shines.

It need a little something and a set just arrived the day I made it from Paper Trey Ink that had “for" and "You" in it. It was the perfect touch that it needed.

Thank you for visiting my little blog it is fun to have you here. Please take time to go visit the Outlawz. May your Christmas sparkle as much or more than this card does. God Bless your day.
